Reviews, testimonials & press from the realm of Dragons & Dreams

Featured in Volume 6 of Romantasy Illustrated Magazine

“Set as an outdoor, fantasy-themed celebration of books and creativity, Dragons & Dreams brought together the many corners of the bookish community in one welcoming space. Part book fair, part community festival, the event featured indie fantasy authors, bookish and handmade vendors, cosplay, live music, food trucks, and activities for all ages, such as Archery, crafting, custom poem writing, and more. It was a full day with something happening in every direction, yet it never felt overwhelming.”

Kind Words From Our Vendors

“The atmosphere felt like a combination of a book festival and a ren faire, it was SO MAGICAL and perfect, and it also seemed like the type of people it drew in were very ready to buy books, it didn't take as much selling as some events do for me to convert interest into sales. I also had one guest who bought every book I had because she researched all authors ahead of time, that told me the communication about who would be attending was fantastic.”

“It was my first event as an author and it exceeded my expectations!”

“It was not only a good environment with the right kind of people and vendors, but it was also the top selling event I've had to date (even more than LA Comic-Con).”

“The festival drew together an excellent demographic of cosplay, book, and fantasy lovers. It was a playfully immersive experience that all could enjoy.”

“I absolutely loved how many excited attendees there were at the event. Additionally, the helpfulness of the staff was really appreciated. I also loved seeing everyone dressed up for the event, and it was something fun to participate in as well. I really like the concept of encouraging cosplay at the events, it makes them even more magical.”

“The vibes at the event were great! So much fun seeing everyone all dressed up! And the organization/ planning / communication was top tier! So important to me!”
